The process / what we do for you

The One stop Team offers our clients a full range of services as listed or Studio S Architects can be appointed for any one of the specific services.

Evaluating Potential Sites or Home Purchases:

We frequently assist clients at the earliest stages of a project by evaluating properties or sites before purchase. Sometimes that means visiting a derelict area with the client or a producing an outline sketch from existing estate agent plans and photographs. This includes working with your plans to obtain Building Regulations, over see a project or build it with the One Stop Team.

Preliminary Design and Budgeting

Listening to your intentions and combining it with our experience over a wide range of projects, we visually articulate your ideas for you to understand how it looks.

We have a creative way of seeing the project that often produces enhanced solutions. From informal sketches to colourful 3D computer models, we make it easy for you to understand the idea, then our contractors can provide a budget price.

Planning and Construction stages

These documents include a set of planning and construction drawings (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical etc.) that will be used to obtain statutory approvals. It can also include a written outline scope of work and specifications. Once the construction documents are complete, we review them with the client. After approval by the client, the project is submitted for a planning application, building regulations and issued for bidding.

Construction stage and Administration

This stage begins at the start of construction and ends at the completion of the project. During construction, Studio S Architects make site visits to review the progress of the project, ensure its conformance with the design drawings and answer questions the client or the contractor may have. We also can review invoices and any changes from the client, if requested.
